About Qatar Post

Qatar Post is the national provider of postal services across Qatar. Opened in 1950, it was acquired by the State of Qatar in 1963. Since becoming an independent organization in 2001 it has been transformed into a shareholding company whose objective is to transform postal service delivery and position Qatar Post as a leader on a global scale.

The Solution

A full capability assessment was carried out, highlighting key areas of focus for leadership development. The program began with a one-day launch event in Qatar, designed in partnership. The program then continued with a mix of individual development courses and customized programs. Leaders were able to self-select some of their studies so that they were empowered to manage their own learning journey.

Programs were delivered in a combination of English and Arabic, with live simultaneous translation taking place on some programs. Participants had the opportunity to learn alongside people from all over the world from program sessions in Doha and at our HQ in the UK.

The Impact

Performance and leadership capability among the participants have significantly improved. There is evidence of behavior change and leaders' enhanced skill, understanding, and global outlook is being applied daily.

Participants have reported improvements in managing teams and collaborating, delegating tasks, working with different personalities, developing and motivating others, enhancing and utilizing their own skills, and discovering existing capabilities and strengths.
