This immersive program helps first-time managers successfully make the transition from a great contributor to an effective leader who guides a high-achieving team.
Program overview
Using blended delivery as a core learning technique, with learning transfer in mind, you will make an immediate impact through organizational challenges and problem-based learning. This program provides a supportive learning journey with sessions, activities, practical organizational challenges, data, self-study content, peer coaching, and faculty input spread across 16 weeks.
For each core topic and learning objective, you will follow Hult EF’s proven methodology: experience + framework + application. You will apply the concepts, frameworks, and experiences to an organizational challenge; outline future development; and demonstrate to yourself, program peers and your organization that your learning has been immediately applied.

This program incorporates numerous elements of experiential learning. This includes research from the Round the World Yacht Race, as well as individual data collected while wearing a heart rate variance monitor. Participants receive feedback on the HRV data that shows their physiological reactions to stress, and they learn methods they can use to stay calm under pressure.

Online Learning
For participants with complex schedules and frequent commitments, the self-paced approach helps them navigate a full calendar and put the Open Program learnings first when it works best. This style helps participants avoid going through the motions of the course and instead focus on learning when they have the capacity to do so.
Blended Learning
Blended Open Programs seamlessly combine self-study content, residential modules, and live virtual sessions to provide a lasting and impactful learning experience. Online learning is a compulsory aspect of the programs, which begin with a minimum of four virtual workshops.
