Program overview

Leading Culture Change will give participants the tools to plan and execute large-scale transformation initiatives and the confidence to communicate with employees in times of change. Leaders will learn how to manage complex communication needs for a diverse, global, and distributed workforce.

The full-day simulation involves participants taking on a senior leadership role in organizations undergoing serious challenges. Participants will actively experience how employees’ perceptions of the content and context of the change, and their emotional responses to them, form part of the process of change. They will experience creating employee buy-in, ensuring a safe space for dialogue, and building a renewed sense of belonging.

The program is structured around the key lessons as defined by leaders who have lived through a culture transformation. Some of these include:

· Fostering dialogue

· Dealing with a range of negative emotions

· Making employees feel valued, heard and safe during change

In addition, leaders benefit from the network of support and challenge established by the facilitated Peer Group Action Learning Sets that forms part of this program.

Hult EF’s proprietary Leading Cultural Transformation (LCT) survey provides a 180-degree view of leadership skills – how leaders perceive their skills and how these skills are perceived by their direct reports. The results are invaluable when it comes to evaluating a leader’s effectiveness in times of organizational change and showing them where opportunities for development exist so they can successfully guide their team through transformation.

Cultivate a workplace environment where employees feel appreciated and comfortable sharing their opinions

Who is it for?

Mid- to senior-level managers responsible for the planning and/or the implementation of major transformational change initiatives within their organization. This may include culture change, restructuring, or merger integration initiatives.

Online Learning

For participants with complex schedules and frequent commitments, the self-paced approach helps them navigate a full calendar and put the Open Program learnings first when it works best. This style helps participants avoid going through the motions of the course and instead focus on learning when they have the capacity to do so.

Blended Learning

Blended programs combine the best of live virtual and face-to-face learning. Part one of each blended program is hosted virtually and in real time.
Then, leaders implement what they’ve learned or undertake strategic projects before coming together face-to-face for part two. Participants get a deeply impactful, immersive, and intimate learning experience, meeting peers from all over the globe and interacting with world-class faculty.
