A research study on the learning health of organizations by Hult International Business School faculty in partnership with EdCast
Through the unprecedented challenges faced by Learning & Development (L&D) professionals over the past few years, one change that stands out, is the sense of community and comradery shared by L&D professionals across industries and around the globe.
Never has there been a greater need for shared sensemaking and shared learning.
As such, we are delighted to have partnered with EdCast to conduct the first Europe, UK and US Learning Health Index Study, to provide insight into the health of learning and development in troubled times.
This study leveraged the EdCast Learning Health Framework, to collect and analyse quantitative data across eight dimensions of learning health. It surveyed 50 leading organizations across 17 industries distributed across Europe, the UK , and the USA.
Although the results rate all three regions as moving into the Developing stage of learning health, they also suggest that despite executive sponsorship, investment into learning, the desire to create learning agility, and to align learning with business needs, most organizations have yet to unlock the potential of a healthy learning culture.
