Today’s volatile economic, technological, and political environment makes workplaces especially challenging and unpredictable.

Businesses will live and die with the capacity of their staffs’, managers’, and teams’ ability to adapt to these ever-changing and unpredictable circumstances. Employees who approach these challenges with the right frame of mind – often called a growth mindset – will be better prepared to ensure their own and their organization’s success.

Growth mindset is a cultivated approach that helps individuals to cope and manage change, adversity, and uncertainty – all circumstances that require new learning. This research explores whether a growth mindset developed in MBA graduates during their management education is retained and transferred to the workplace, and if so, how this associates with workplace behavior. The report discusses the implications of a growth mindset for organizational success in today’s unpredictable world.
