As your responsibilities shift towards leading through others, this program will provide knowledge, experience and practical ways to create performance through people. Throughout the program, you’ll not only learn what you can do differently to lead with impact, you’ll recognize for yourself why it matters, now and in the future. Throughout the program, you'll reflect on the answer to ‘why should anyone be led by you?’

Overview

Underpinned by research, you’ll learn what it takes to create alignment of intention, values and identity within a team and what you can do to develop yourself and others. You’ll also build the capability to lead others in high performance - by developing your understanding of motivation, commitment and performance, for yourself and for others, as you each bring your own wants and needs into the workplace. Through simulations with actors, case studies and peer-feedback rounds you will learn how to coach others, how to cultivate a spirit of commitment, how to establish effective communication and how to make a lasting change. At the end of the program, you will be creating an action plan that will help you put what you have learned into practice.

Is this program for you?

This program is for leaders who recognize the mindset shift that's required to transition away from being technical experts and towards delivering through others. They may have experience of managing teams but are seeking further guidance on how to enhance the performance of their direct reports since moving from a tactical to more strategic, managerial role.

Our Open Program takes place on-site at our Hult Ashridge campus, just 23 miles north of London. The former country house for the British royal family is set on 190 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and boasts comfortable private accommodation, an on-site bar, two restaurants, a café, a shop, pools, and a fully equipped gym.

To ensure every participant gets the absolute most out of their chosen program, we incorporate experiential learning experiences where possible, providing learners with case studies and simulations to help contextualize and enable putting the course content into practice after the program has finished.
We personalize the learning experience through psychometric assessments powered by Lumnia Sparks and offer 2 hours of 1-2-1 coaching with an Executive Coach as part of the program. As with all our programs, we encourage personal reflection and peer feedback sessions throughout the program. In addition, you'll be granted access to our online learning platform, Leadership Live, where we'll house your assessment results and offer you unlimited access to our webinars and learning materials to support your professional development for 6 months after the course is completed.
Before each program begins, we ask participants to complete some self-assessments to identify growth areas and track progress throughout the course. After the course is completed, participants will have access to all of Leadership Live's courses, webinars, live sessions and assessments for 6 months as part of the program.
