While the world has been focused on fighting the Covid-19 pandemic, business leaders and policymakers, along with trade unions and NGOs, have been developing plans for how to build back better, and accelerate the achievement of the Paris Agreement and Sustainable Development Goals through the way we rebuild our businesses and economies.

Our expert speakers: Matthew Gitsham
Matthew is Director of the Hult Centre for Business and Sustainability, at Hult International Business School. He specializes in Sustainable Development, Human Rights, and Organizational Change. Matt has led numerous research projects on business and sustainable development for over a decade at Hult. Recent projects include exploring CEO perspectives on the implications of sustainability for business leadership, CEO lobbying for more ambitious public policy on sustainable development, the role of business in shaping the UN SDGs, how companies are embedding the SDGs (in partnership with Business Fights Poverty), and corporate leadership on Modern Slavery (in partnership with the Ethical Trading Initiative). Matt has worked closely with networks including the UN Global Compact and Business in the Community, and companies including Unilever, IBM, HSBC, GSK, De Beers, Cemex, and Pearson.
